Mirror Image At the very tender age of 10 years old Susan and Jesse Vasquez showed a passion for singing. In there early age of development their musical influences were very diverse ranging from R&B, Latin, and Hip-Hop. Some of their major musical influences are Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Nelly, Ludacris, Marc Anthony, and Aventura. At age 14 both Susan and Jesse Vasquez began to transcend their passion for music from hobby to career. They entered various school and church talent shows, plays, gaining the experience needed to begin their journey in the sound and recording business. It wasn’t until their Aunt / Manager Sonia heard the girls sing one summer when she realized that they had god given talent. The next few months they were taking vocal coaching, while going through the process of artist development.
Now at, age 19 Susan and Jesse Vasquez has emerged into the recording business as Mirror Image. Their sound is called Lat- Hop a fusion of Latino, Hip-Hop beats over tight R&B vocals, through their development journey Mirror Image has performed in NY hot spots i.e. The legendary Copacabana, The Calle Ocho Festival, Puerto Rican Day Parade, Babalu’s, Universal Soul Circus, BMI showcase just to name a few. They have also picked a worthy cause in what is dubbed Love Don’t Hurt Campaign addressing the signs of Teen Domestic Violence through public speaking and performing. Not with standing the countless radio, television, and print interviews Mirror Image received they are a forced to be reckoned with and have branded Lat-Hop to be their very own style which is heavily influenced by Reggeaton.
Currently they are recording their first original track album and looking forward to releasing it sometime in 2007.
